Let me explain something about the Lost Songs series- these aren't rejects, or failed songs- though some are experiments or demos, and some are finished and professionally mastered. Sometimes songs just don't fit with a planned albums feel, so you put them to one side, and eventually they accumulate in drifts of different styles. Then these stray songs begin to fit in some way, and suggest additional albums.

Basically I just write a lot of songs... and this series has been a way to get them all out.

In this spirit, these songs are from 2019-2022 and are some of the songs that didn't make it onto the next official album... which I can't tell you about yet, so (shhh) you didn't read that.

This album is mostly a vaguely psych, lo-fi rock, alt pop thing... lots of simple short songs for once, plus a splash of dance feel and a few of my usual longer genre shifting things. i hope you enjoy it, and it becomes part of Summer 2023 for some of you.
